On October 10th, Rotarians worldwide were asked to take photos of their fellow club members in action photographs that showcase the many aspects of Rotary Life. Central Ocean Rotary planted trees and shrubs at the Ocean County YMCA in Toms River.
The ambitious event was coordinated by members John D'Elia, a landscaper with Natural Concepts, Henry Hengchua and Rodger Koerber, Director of the YMCA.
From 1 pm to 5 pm, club members, families and volunteers all donned shovels, rakes, wheel barrows and a sense of community spirit to beautify the area.
