This time of year is generally when people get into a giving mood. The holidays remind all of us that some people might not be as fortunate as others. We Rotarians realize this fact year round, but we too are in the holiday spirit. We have undertaken several initiatives this month to bring joy to residents of Toms River and Ocean County.
The club will be providing and putting up decorations for Ocean's Harbor House, which gives a safe haven for children that do not have a home in Ocean County. They also have a tree with the gift requests from the children, and we will be providing some of those as well. Our members will also be bringing gifts to donate to Toys for Tots to our annual holiday party, an annual tradition of our club.
Our 20 plus members continue their dedication to our community during the holidays and year round.
