Ladies and gentleman, presenting the largest charity foundation you probably haven't heard of: The Rotary Foundation.
It's astonishing that people approach members of our club and do not have any idea of what the Rotary Foundation does for our country and our planet. Clean water, ending hunger and other types of humanitarian relief are all provided by the enormous efforts of the our foundation and its donors.
Our District 7500 provided a very nice event called the "Thanks for Giving" dinner honoring so many Rotary clubs that do their part to contribute so that the Foundation can do its work. Many clubs had achieved $100/per member or more, which is quite an accomplishment.
