It's been a busy summer at the Central Ocean Rotary Club of Toms River. Our club and its members have been a part of so many events recently, carrying out our mission of Service Above Self!
Here are some of the highlights of our club's activity this summer:
- Participated in the Carmelena Cares golf outing, supporting their mission of bringing electric bikes to disabled children.
- Assisted with building a house for Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity.
- Held a fellowship event at the Lakewood BlueClaws.
- Attended the Rotary Strike Out Hunger and Gift of Life annual dinners, helping to raise money for the associated causes.
- Donated money to Ocean's Harbor House, a children's homeless shelter based in Toms River.
- Visited and participated in Toms River Schools' Makercamp, a summer program for kids using their imagination combined with technology.
